The DJCLPP will be holding the first in a series of conversations with the authors we are publishing this issue. This lecture will be by Professor Erika Wilson from UNC School of Law. She will be discussing her article entitled "The New White Flight," where she proposes that we should reconsider the legality and desirability of racial segregation in America's charter schools. Professor Wilson argues that although this segregation is caused by the collective choice of white parents rather than by government policies, it may still be unconstitutional. We invite students and faculty to engage with Professor Wilson on both the substance of her piece as well as her writing process.
