Stories of a Holocaust Survivor: Nissan Mangel

November 10, 2016 • 12:30 PM • Law School 4055

Holocaust survivor Rabbi Nissan Mangel will be hosted by the Jewish Law Student Association and Chabad for a discussion about the Holocaust, his experiences at the camps and some of the deeper philosophical questions involved in this tragic part of human history. Nissan Mangel is a renowned scholar, author, speaker and philosopher. He was sent to Auschwitz when he was just 10 years old - making him the youngest inmate at the camp. He survived four other concentration camps and three encounters with Dr. Josef Mengele, the Angel of Death. Sponsored by Jewish Law Student Association.
