Where Gender Identity and Biology Collide: A Conversation with Professors Doriane Coleman and Laurence Helfer

A discussion with Duke Law's very own professor Doriane Coleman, a former international 800m competitor and expert in the Olympic Movement and sex as it relates to sport, and professor Laurence Helfer, an expert in international law, human rights, and LGBT rights. They will focus on the implications of the recent decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) regarding two-time Olympic champion, Caster Semenya. Lunch will be served.
