Women and Exoneration: The Story of the San Antonio Four

Please join Duke Law Innocence Project as we discuss the challenges faced by exonerated women. This event will feature a screening of Southwest of Salem, a 2016 documentary directed by Deborah Esquenazi about the persecution of four Latina lesbians in 1997 and 1998. Following the screening, we will hear from Anna Vasquez who spent more than a decade of her life as a convicted sex offender for a crime that never happened.
