The Duke Law community enjoys 24-hour access to the Law School and Goodson Law Library with a current DukeCard. Current members of the Duke University community may access the library during service desk staffing hours. A DukeCard is required for entrance to the Law School building after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and on the weekend.
The Duke Law School and Goodson Law Library entrances are open to the general public from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. After these hours, only current Duke Law or University students, faculty, and staff are authorized to be in the Law School building; others are required to leave.

Exceptions: The library will be closed on Monday, January 16 for Martin Luther King Jr Day. Current members of the Duke Law community retain 24-hour DukeCard access during these exceptions and at all other times.
