5 Questions for Anna Walker
As director of alumni and constituent relations, Anna helps engage alumni with the Law School. In her spare time, she volunteers in the community and indulges in the Food Network.

College: Washington and Lee University

2. What brought you to Duke Law School?
The remarkable opportunity to combine my experience as a community volunteer with my legal background. I feel fortunate to be able to help others find lifelong enrichment, service, and leadership development opportunities.
3. What do you do for fun outside of work?
I volunteer with the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties, Urban Ministries of Durham, and Pi Beta Phi at Duke. It’s important to me to make a difference in our community.
4. What is your favorite TV show and why?
“The Barefoot Contessa” on Food Network. I love the way Ina Garten takes simple ingredients and transforms them into decadent meals to share with friends. I especially identify with her appreciation of French food and style.
5. Tell us something about yourself that otherwise we wouldn't know or guess.
I’m a certified SCUBA diver.
