Please join Menaka Nayar '14, an associate in the New York office of Linklaters, for a wide-ranging conversation about her work advising sovereign states, international NGOs, and multinational corporations on issues involving good governance, development, internal investigations, and transnational disputes. Her experience is not limited to private practice; in law school, she externed at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, the court conducting trials of the Khmer Rouge regime responsible for the Cambodian genocide, and worked for the United Nations Office for South-South Co-operation, including as a rapporteur for the 2013 Global South-South Development Expo in Nairobi. Ms. Nayar will offer advice to students interested in internationally-focused careers, particularly careers that focus on international development, international human rights, and global regulatory compliance.
