Constangy, Brooks & Smith's Diversity Scholars - deadline Dec 11 2013

Constangy, Brooks & Smith initiated its Diversity Scholars Awards program to recognize the achievements of law students who have demonstrated academic achievement, a commitment to diversity in their community, school or work environment, and personal achievements in overcoming challenges to reach goals.

To be eligible, applicants must be a second-year student with a 3.0 GPA or greater and enrolled in an accredited law school that is located in one of the following states: Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, California, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Virginia/Washington, D.C., New Jersey and Massachusetts. One student will receive a $2,000 scholarship in recognition of accomplishments in academics, a commitment to diversity in the community, school or work environment, and personal achievement in overcoming challenges to reach goals.

Applications for the 2013 Diversity Scholars Awards are available here and are due by Wednesday, December 11, 2013. The Award recipient will be notified in early January 2014, with the scholarship award presented in early 2014.
