Moot Court in Luis v. United States

Duke Law students, faculty, and staff are invited to join Howard Srebnick, Partner at Black, Srebnick, Kornspan & Stumpf, P.A., for a moot court in Luis v US. This case is set to be argued in front of the US Supreme Court on November 10th, 2015. The question presented is: Whether the pretrial restraint of a criminal defendant's legitimate, untainted assets (those not traceable to a criminal offense) needed to retain counsel of choice violates the Fifth and Sixth Amendments. This event is open to the Duke Law community only.
