Duke Forum for Law & Social Change Conference: The New Face of Discrimination: "Muslim" in America

The symposium will address issues relating to discrimination against Muslims and people perceived to be Muslim in the United States. The conference features panel presentations on the public perception of Islam and civil rights for Muslims in a post-9/11 world. The panels will be followed by simultaneous breakout sessions co-sponsored by the Duke Muslim Student Association, SALSA, and WLSA. The Honorable Mary Rose Oakar, President of Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee, will give the keynote address during the luncheon, sponsored by WLSA & SOLIMENA.
