Please join the Duke Forum for Law & Social Change for a lunchtime talk as we look deeper into the theme of video technology and the legal implications for law enforcement personnel. Panelists will discuss the use of video footage in recent and controversial grand jury decisions surrounding the deaths of Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and John Crawford III. Panelists will help us better understand the grand jury process and discuss why - despite telling video footage of an officers' use of deadly force against unarmed civilians - grand juries often refuse to indict.
