Scholarship Luncheon 2015
Duke Law School donors, board members, named scholars and fellows gathered on February 28, 2015 at the Scholarship & Fellowship Luncheon held at the Washington Duke Inn. The annual event provides an opportunity for students to meet and thank the donors whose generous support of financial aid makes their scholarships and fellowships possible. Speakers included Dean David F. Levi, William Hoye, the Associate Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, Gail Feagles’ 76 and Prentiss Feagles ’76, who established the Gail and Prentiss Feagles Scholarship, and student speaker, Chantalle Carles ’16, who is both an R.C. Kelly Law Mordecai Scholar and a Douglas A. Poe Mordecai Scholar.
In the 2014-15 academic year, Duke Law School awarded 37 named summer fellowships and more than 170 individual scholarships for named scholars, including nine scholarships which were awarded for the first time.
