Judge Diane Sykes of the United States Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals was appointed in 2004. Prior to her appointment, she sat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court from 1999-2004. Judge Sykes speaks on gender and judging as well as her experiences on the federal appellate bench.
