364.01 AI Law and Policy
This course will serve as an essential entry point into the complex world of AI law and policy. Through a blend of foundational governance elements in AI, existing and pending legislation, and legal complaints and opinions, this course will equip students with an understanding of the emerging legal and technological landscape in generative and multi-modal AI that will position them to take other courses that dive into specific aspects of AI and digital technology governance, including cybersecurity and privacy.

Completion of 1L year. International LLM students wishing to enroll in this course must receive preapproval; to do so, they should contact the instructor, attaching their CV and a brief description of their previous legal training and professional experience.
