Ellen Gilley
Senior Lecturing Fellow

Ellen Gilley is lead counsel at a global pharmaceutical company where she supports data, technology, and digital initiatives within the R&D organization. Previously, Ellen served as legal advisor to Judge Rosemary Barkett on the Iran-United States Claim Tribunal and practiced a combination of corporate law, alternative dispute resolution, and BHR matters at Ropes & Gray LLP. Ellen received her JD/LLM from Duke Law School in 2013 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. She is thrilled to be returning to Duke Law to teach Lawyers as Leaders and Team Members with Paige Gentry, which is an extension of a Wintersession course they have developed and taught for the last four years.
