Chelsey McKimmy

Chelsey McKimmy is a Research Services Librarian & Lecturing Fellow at the Duke University School of Law where she co-teaches in Duke Law’s Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing program. Prior to joining Duke Law, Chelsey has worked as a law librarian at Lincoln Memorial University and the University of Iowa.

Chelsey is an active member of national and regional professional organizations for law librarians. She currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Legal Innovation and Technology Special Interest Section within the American Association of Law Libraries. She is also an active member of regional law library associations, including the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries and the Southeastern Association of Law Libraries.

Chelsey received her M.A. in English Literature and Textual Interpretation from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire where she earned the University’s Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award. Chelsey received her J.D. from the University of Iowa School of Law and her M.L.I.S. from the University of Iowa.
