Cassandra Patterson
Lecturing Fellow

Cassandra Patterson joined Duke Law School as a lecturing fellow in August 2022. Prior to joining Duke Law, Cassandra served as a law librarian and taught first-year and upper level legal research as an assistant professor at Georgia State University College of Law, and she also served as a reference librarian at Elon University School of Law and Charleston School of Law. She received her J.D. and M.L.S. from North Carolina Central University and holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Cassandra co-teaches two sections of Legal Analysis, Research and Writing. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries. Her research interests include criminal and civil rights law, as well as labor and employment law.
