Bradley T. Zimmer’s professional career has been comprised of general counsel and executive leadership roles in global media companies. He served as general counsel & secretary of Convex Group and its HowStuffWorks subsidiary from early-stage through their sale to Discovery Communications in 2007. Notable media properties included World Book Encyclopedia digital, feature films such as Noel and Gracie, and RIAA-gold and multi-platinum music albums. Zimmer then led the formation and structuring of Remark Media — - a NASDAQ-listed global media company focused on broadcast and digital media in the Brazil, China and southeast Asia markets. He served as general counsel & secretary and subsequently chief operating officer of Remark, from formation in 2006 until 2014. Zimmer is currently managing director of Cella Partners, which identifies technology infrastructure opportunities and works with consumer enterprise companies to accelerate and scale their digital businesses.
Zimmer has presented with organizations including ICLE, PLI, and the American Bar Association on topics including international law, media law, capital markets and alternative financing, and the JOBS Act. He has served on the boards of private and non-profit organizations, is a member of the Duke Law Board of Visitors, and previously was a member of the Duke Law Alumni Association Board of Directors and co-chaired the Duke Law Development Committee. He received his A.B. in Public Policy from Duke University and JD from Duke University School of Law, and is a member of the North Carolina State Bar.
