Spencer as he prefers to be called is the Director of Advancement Services. He is responsible for the strategic planning and management of the school’s internal advancement systems, which includes stewardship operations, prospect management and database integrity, general operations management, and campaign reporting. Spencer previously worked at the law school for a decade, where he served as the Registrar and Director in the Office of Student Records, and the Director of Student Activities. During his time away from Duke Law, Spencer served as the Director of Operations for the start-up venture LoMo Market, and most recently as the Executive Director for the Autoimmune Encephalitis Alliance, where he led all strategic, fundraising, external engagement and promotional efforts.
