Robert P. Reade
Associate Professor of Law, 1904-1914, Professor of Law, 1914-1915
Robert Percival Reade was an original member of the faculty of the law school started by Trinity College under Dean Mordecai in 1904. Reade completed a bachelor’s degree at Trinity in 1900 and an LL.B. at the University of Michigan in 1903. After leaving teaching in 1915 he joined a law firm in Durham. Reade remained active with the firm until his death in 1961.
