Connect with Duke Law School
We are always eager to connect with prospective students to talk about the academic and professional opportunities available to Duke Law students and answer questions about our application process! This fall, we'll be participating in a variety of in-person and virtual events to help you learn more about Duke. The current opportunities are listed below, but this is a work in progress, so check back periodically for updates!

Virtual opportunities to learn more about the school and the application process
Information Session: An overview of the law school and application process with plenty of time for your questions. This is a great general introduction, and we encourage you to attend one of these first. These sessions are targeted for fall 2026 applicants and later.
All information sessions last about an hour and provide the same general overview. If you still have questions after attending an information session, email admissions@law.duke.edu.
Virtual opportunities to learn more about the school, our students, and faculty
Student Panel: Each session highlights different student organizations and parts of the law school experience. The subject will be indicated when available in advance. We suggest that you attend these events after joining one of the general information sessions.
Student Organization Spotlight: a 30 minute admissions presentations followed by half-hour breakout rooms where you can meet with members of a variety of student organizations. The student groups that will be represented are: Black Law Students Association, Business Law Society, First Class (First-Generation College Law Students), Law & Political Economy at Duke, Law & Technology Society, Women Law Students Association, Womxn of Color Collective, 1GP (First Generation Professional Students).
Faculty Spotlight: Faculty members will discuss their research, teaching, and how they help students succeed at Duke. Participants will be indicated when available in advance. We suggest that you attend these events after joining one of the general information sessions.
JD/LLM Sessions: Hear from faculty and current students in Duke's distinctive three-year JD/LLM programs, with concentrations in International & Comparative Law and Law & Entrepreneurship.
We're visiting a number of colleges and law firms this fall. Come hear advice about the application process from seasoned admisssions deans! In some cases, we'll be joined by friends from other law schools as well.
We'll update the location and registration details for these events as they are available.
The Deans of Admissions from Chicago, Duke, and Stanford law schools will discuss their schools and the application process, followed by a question and answer period
These programs are online (via Zoom). While they are targeted towards a particular city or region, you are welcome to attend any of them where the date and time are convenient to you! Each session lasts approximately ninety minutes. Registration links will be added when they are available.
