The 2024 SILLC application deadline is Wednesday, May 1.

Application:

Click here to apply to the Summer Institute on law, Language and Culture (SILLC).  Submission of the application form must immediately be followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of a current resume.  Applications for the 2024 SILLC should be received by May 1, 2024. 

English language requirements:

While there are no specific requirements for English language proficiency to be eligible for SILLC, applicants are asked to provide their TOEFL or IELTS score or a short description of their English language experience/education during the application process, and each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  Upon admission to the program, however, students will be asked to provide their TOEFL or IELTS score as a requirement of the U.S. visa application process.

Application Fee - $175

The application fee, to accompany the application form, is non-refundable and does not apply to tuition, but is strictly for processing the application.  Wire transfer instructions will be provided to applicants upon the receipt of their application form.  

Enrollment Fee - $500

The enrollment fee will secure the applicant’s position after admission and will be applied to the tuition fee.  Payment instructions will be provided to participants once they are admitted to the program.

2024 Tuition Fee – $4,880

Payment instructions will be provided to participants once they are admitted to the program.

Other Expenses:

Personal expenses, including housing, utilities, food, and so on, are not included. Students must make their own arrangements for housing.
