Jane Wettach is the William B. McGuire Clinical Professor of Law at Duke Law School, where she has taught since 1994.
In addition to directing the Children's Law Clinic, Prof. Wettach teaches Education Law. Previously, she taught in the AIDS Legal Assistance Project and in the Legal Analysis, Research and Writing program. Prior to joining the faculty at Duke, Wettach was a Legal Aid lawyer in Raleigh and Winston-Salem, specializing in the law of government benefits. Wettach earned her undergraduate and law degrees at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Crystal Grant is a Lecturing Fellow at Duke Law School. She joined the faculty in 2018 as Supervising Attorney in the Children’s Law Clinic. Prior to her work at Duke, she was a Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic at the University of Michigan School of Law. She developed expertise in special education law as a staff attorney at the Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service. Grant earned her law degree at the Michigan State College of Law and her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan. Her undergraduate degree is from Andrews University in Michigan.
Sandra Pettiford is a native of Roxboro, North Carolina. She joined the staff in 2004. Prior to her work at Duke, she was Clinic Administrator for North Carolina Central University School of Law.
