Main Content

The information below pertains to accommodations for the Law School Convocation on Saturday. Information about disability accommodations for University Commencement on Sunday can be found on the Duke University Commencement website.

Parking

General parking for convocation is in the Science Drive Garage. Shuttles are available to transport attendees from the Science Drive Garage to Cameron Indoor Stadium. The shuttles are not wheelchair accessible. There are also wheelchair valets available at Cameron Indoor Stadium to assist guests with mobility challenges.

If your guest(s) are unable to access the shuttles, please inform us using this survey. Your guest(s) will be added to the accessible parking list.

Seating

General seating for convocation is in the stands of Cameron Indoor Stadium. Sitting in the stands offers the best view of the ceremony, and you may invite as many guests as you would like to sit in the stands. Seating in the stands does require ascending stairs.

Guests who are unable to access the stairs in the stands are able to sit on the floor of the stadium. Floor seating is limited, as we have many students’ families attending, and graduating students also are seated on the floor. Therefore, we limit floor seating to 4 guests per graduating student. For example, if you have 1 guest who requires floor seating, you may request up to 3 additional floor seats.

Please let us know of any accessible seating needs using this survey. Once your request has been processed, the graduating student will need to pick up wristbands from the Office of Student Affairs. These wristbands will allow your guests to access the floor seating.
