Reasons to Give
The generosity of graduating classes supports everything we do here at Duke Law, from scholarships to clinics to public interest, etc. Each year, the graduating class committee comes together to encourage all of our classmates to participate in this tradition to support the future students of Duke Law. Your pledge can be as low as $20.20, or up to thousands. 2020 is a great class that can make a huge difference for future students!
Battle of the Blues
We are launching a Battle of the Blues competition with UNC Law School, to see which school has the highest participation towards their class gift by the March 7th Duke vs. UNC game. Your donation not only counts toward the class gift participation, but also toward our competition with UNC Law. Any amount counts towards participation so make your contribution and show UNC what Duke is made of! Donate by 11:59pm on March 7th for your donation to count!

Class Commitment Designation Options
Why give? Your tuition only pays a portion of what it actually costs for a student to graduate from Duke Law. That leaves thousands per student that the Law School has to cover! The vital support of the Duke Law Annual Fund provides essential, unrestricted, consistent support that be directed to wherever needs are most pressing at any given moment, including financial aid, student organizations, library resources, and faculty research.
The LLM Scholarship Fund helps International students who require financial assistance to meet tuition and living expenses. The LLM Scholarship Fund allows the School to admit talented students from around the world without regard to financial need and to provide them with an extraordinary legal education.

Provides operating funds especially so every student who wants to participate will have the necessary resources. Helps to establish new clinics over time that meet curricular priorities, address critical social needs, and respond to student interest (like the new International Human Rights Clinic!)
Supporting PILF allows the school to award grants to support students who have accepted eligible public interest summer positions. These grants enable Duke Law students to gain valuable legal experience through summer internships with organizations such as legal aid offices; environmental organizations; federal, state or local agencies; prosecutor’s or defender’s offices; and much more.
Recognition and Incentives
The Barrister Donor Society is the Law School’s leadership giving society. Barristers receive invitations to special events, including the Law School’s Barrister reception held during Reunion Weekend, and are recognized annually on a plaque in the Law School as well as in the fall Duke Law Magazine. Young alumni (1-5 years out) are recognized as Barrister with a gift of $1,000 to any fund.
Created in 2014, Advocate Gift Club donors receive special recognition in our Honor Roll. Young alumni are recognized as part of the Advocate Gift Club with a gift of $500 to any fund.
