We're so excited to share this nuptial news about two of our alums -- Lauren Myers '17 and Ennis Coble '18 -- tying the knot in June. The couple met at a @dukelawblsa event in 2015 and got engaged in front of @dukechapel in 2020. So when looking for wedding venues, they knew Duke was a perfect fit! It was truly a Duke Law affair, with fellow Duke Law alums Jasmin Lott '17, Ocoszio Jackson '17, Glenda Dieuveille '17, Jennifer Tian '17, Marcus Benning '17, Christine Umeh '17, Brittany Mixon '17, Geoff Wright '17, Tatiana Wilkinson '18, Greg Brown '18, Dacia Green '18, and Seth Pearson '16 in attendance. Duke Law's own Ebony Bryant even officiated the ceremony. After Lauren and Ennis exchanged vows at the Chapel, guests enjoyed a reception at the Washington Duke filled with smiles, joy, and dancing. In a post on Instagram, Jackson said, "Both returned to Durham to unite in matrimony at the place where it all started. I am so happy that the next phase of this journey began surrounded by people who love and care for you!" With Lauren and Ennis' blessing, we're happy to share their news with the Duke Law community. We wish them a long and happy life together, and the best in their respective careers. The two reside in New York where Lauren is working as Associate Counsel for Global Partnerships & Privacy at the National Basketball Association and Ennis is working as Counsel for the New York Mets.
