Events

2017 marks the Fifth Annual Transactional Law Competition. Students will compete in document mark-up and negotiation of a corporate transaction scenario for a fun and educational opportunity to learn more about transactional practice. Practicing attorneys from a variety of firms will judge the event. An awards and networking reception for competitors and judges will follow the competition and provide recap and feedback of the event. The first place teams from each side of the transaction will be invited to represent Duke at competitions in Boulder, CO and Athens, GA. The first place and second place teams from each side of the transaction will be invited to join the Transactional Law Competition Board. Sponsored by the Transactional Law Competition Board.
