Blockchain and the Future of the Music Industry

Please join the Duke Sports and Entertainment Law Society for a lunch panel on Blockchain, smart contracts and their implications for the music industry and music copyright law. The panel will feature Jesse Grushack, the founder of Ujo Music, which is a Blockchain based music distribution platform. Jesse will be joined by Nina Kilbride, Head of Legal Engineering at Monax Industries and Professors Jennifer Jenkins (Law School) and Cam Harvey (Fuqua). Guest panelists will discuss emerging Blockchain technologies and how their implementation in the music industry can solve various industry-wide problems.
