November 30, 2016 • 12:30 PM • Law School 3037

The Duke Law chapter of the American Constitution Society invites you to a panel discussion about the implications of the recent election in North Carolina. The panel will discuss North Carolina's still-unresolved gubernatorial race, the rumors of a court-packing plan for the North Carolina Supreme Court, and a broader discussion of how the election's results will impact North Carolina and how students can get involved. The panel will feature Professor Donald Beskind of Duke University School of Law and Gerry Cohen, an attorney at Nelson Mullins and a former special counsel to the North Carolina General Assembly, and will be moderated by Professor Joseph Blocher of Duke University School of Law. Sponsored by ACS. For more information, please contact Steven Beale at steven.beale@duke.edu.
