November 01, 2012 • 12:15 PM • Law School 4045
Please join Duke Law Innocence Project as we welcome Gretchen Engel, Director of the Post-Conviction Litigation Unit at the Center for Death Penalty Litigation. Ms. Engel will be speaking about the impact of the Racial Justice Act, which was passed in 2009 to address cases where race played a significant factor in the imposition of the death penalty, as well as the practice of capital defense work in general. Lunch will be served! For more information, please contact Danli Song at dlsong87@gmail.com.
