Previously, she was the director of the International Climate Program at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), the Assistant US Trade Representative for Environment and Natural Resources, a special assistant at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), an attorney at the US Department of Justice, and taught at George Washington University Law School and at John Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences.
