Please join Jennifer Haverkamp, formerly US Ambassador and Special Representative for Environment and Water Resources, and nominated to be Assistant Secretary for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs (OES) in the U.S. Department of State in the Obama Administration. Previously, she was the director of the International Climate Program at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), the Assistant US Trade Representative for Environment and Natural Resources, a special assistant at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), an attorney at the US Department of Justice, and taught at George Washington University Law School and at John Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. Ambassador Haverkamp will discuss her work and offer advice to students interested in public sector and public interest careers in international law and environmental law.
