Consumer Law and Economic Justice Kickoff Event

January 30, 2020 • 12:30 PM • Law School 4045

Consumer Rights and Economic Justice Project is a new student led legal project working to help consumers know their rights when dealing with large corporations or anyone who would wish to take advantage of them. We also help consumers in litigation efforts and frequently get valuable pro-bono litigation experience. Come to our lunch event to learn more about what we do and how you can get involved. Special guest Ted Mermin, an expert in consumer law who is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Public Good Law Center, and the Interim Executive Director of the Berkeley Center for Consumer Law & Economic Justice, will also be present. Sponsored by the Consumer Rights and Economic Justice project. Contact Alex Bednar ( or DH Nam ( with questions.
