Please join us for this special program with alumni, students, and friends from Duke Law School and Duke's Nicholas School of the Environment, with Justice Department prosecutors Patrick M. Duggan J.D./M.A.'10 and Christopher L. Hale J.D./M.E.M'00. The event will take place at the Duke in Washington office (1201 New York Ave, NW, Suite 1110). Hear the story of the recent landmark Lumber Liquidators case marking the first felony conviction related to the import of illegal timber into the United States. Also learn about the paths that Patrick and Chris have taken to their current roles in the Justice Department's Environmental Crimes Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division.
