Many Duke Law graduates go on to careers in the financial services industry. During their careers, these lawyers will encounter myriad financial products with varying degrees of complexity. Those demonstrating an understanding of the mechanics, pricing, and risk of various financial products will be in a better position to succeed and advance their career than many of their peers. This bootcamp - free of charge to students - will provide students with an overview of fixed income and equity markets and the products that trade in them. Students will not be expected to have any previous experience in these areas, although those students who have taken one or more of Duke Law's finance/banking courses may get more out of the bootcamp. The bootcamp will be held on 1/26, 2/2, and 2/9 from 1 - 3:30 pm. Sponsored by Global Financial Markets Center.
