Duke Law Students are invited to join Nicole Ligon, Lecturing Fellow & Supervising Attorney for the First Amendment Clinic, to learn about the history of the 1st Amendment and protests in the United States. Professor Ligon will discuss the role of legal observers and what she has learned in the process of advising protestors. This virtual session is open to all current Duke Law Students.
