Please join us for a conversation with a panel of scholars, organizers, and attorneys whose work centers on advocacy for victims of gender-based violence. Panelists include: Deborah Weissman, Professor at UNC Law; Lauren Fisher Flores, Legal Director of the American Bar Association's South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project; and Cassandra Rowe, Director of Health and Housing at the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence. In a conversation moderated by Professor Erin Blondel of Duke Law, the panelists will discuss the myriad issues at the intersection of gender violence, immigration, and human rights, from the perspective of the scholar and the advocate.
