Information Session - Introduction to Legal Documents for Duke Law Staff
October 25, 2017 • 12:30 PM • Law School 4047
The student directors of the Duke Law Cancer Pro Bono Project would like to invite you to an information session on "how," "why" and "when" to prepare legal documents for financial, health and end-of-life decisions. The session will have information on such documents as: Power of Attorney, a legal document that authorizes someone you trust to handle your personal and financial affairs under certain conditions; Healthcare Power of Attorney which authorizes another person to make decisions about your medical care in the event that you are unable to make those decisions yourself; and Advance Directive (living will) which makes your wishes for end-of-life care clear for your healthcare providers and family members. Sponsored by the Cancer Pro Bono Project. For more information, please contact Chris DiNardo at Christopher.dinardo@lawnet.duke.edu.
