Each year Duke Law Journal (DLJ) offers leadership positions to rising 3Ls based on their excellent scholarship. Join DLJ to learn about the two pathways to joining DLJ, the Note-On and Online Essay Competitions. The Note-On Competition involves submitting a note-length piece of scholarship (i.e., SWRP), which would be published in DLJ alongside faculty scholarship. The Online Essay Competition requires students to write a short essay responding to a broad prompt, which, in addition to publication on DLJ Online, comes with an award of $250.
