North Carolina Judicial Fellowship Info Session

November 01, 2023 • 12:30 PM • Law School 4044

The North Carolina Judicial Fellowship provides independent legal research and writing support to the state's approximately 370 superior and district court judges. Fellowships are similar to traditional judicial clerkships, but Fellows have the unique opportunity to work with many different judges, who serve in over 100 courthouses and preside over all matters of state law. Fellows assist with drafting orders, conducting research, and providing real-time support at hearings across the state. For anyone interested in trial practice as a career, it is an invaluable resource. This information session will provide information about the Fellowship and application process. Lunch will be provided. Co-sponsored by the Clerkship Office and the North Carolina Club. Contact Leigh Marquess at leigh.marquess@law.duke.edu for more information.
