Race and the 1L Curriculum: Contracts
January 28, 2021 • 12:30 PM • Virtual
Issues of race and racism are often absent from scholarly and casebook discussions of contract law. Race and racism, however, have a substantial influence on a broad range of issues within contract law. Join us for a discussion on these and related matters with Emily Houh, Gustavus Henry Wald Professor of the Law and Contracts and Co-director of the Nathaniel R. Jones Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and Nakita Cuttino, Visiting Assistant Professor, Duke University School of Law. The panel discussion will be moderated by Professor Barak Richman. This event is part of the series on Race and the 1L Curriculum. Sponsored by the Office of the Dean.
