The Reginaldo Howard Memorial Scholars Programs Presents: Where Do We Go from Here? The Movement's Next Steps A conversation with CNN Political Commentator and former South Carolina State Representative Bakari Sellers

The Reginaldo Howard Memorial Scholarship was established in 1976 by the family and friends of the late Reginaldo "Reggie" Howard, the first African American president of the Duke Undergraduate Student Government Association (now Duke Student Government). The scholarship is awarded to students of African heritage from across the US and the world who demonstrate the potential for academic excellence and a genuine and enduring passion for justice and social change. To honor the memory of Reggie and memorialize the 40th anniversary of his death, the scholars have invited Bakari Sellers to address Duke University the evening of March 21st. He will give his key-note address at 6pm at the Duke Law School in Room 3041 titled: Where Do We Go From Here?: The Movement's Next Steps Bakari Sellers is an American politician, attorney, and political analyst for CNN. From 2006-2014 he represented South Carolina's 90th district in the lower house of the state legislature as the youngest African-American elected to office at the age of 22.There will be a reception to immediately follow with light hors d'oeuvres.
