Shitong Qiao is Professor of Law and the Ken Young-Gak Yun and Jinah Park Yun Research Scholar at Duke Law School. Before moving to North Carolina, he was a tenured professor at the University of Hong Kong, where he started his academic career in 2014. He was a Law and Public Affairs (LAPA) fellow at Princeton University in 2020-21, and the inaugural Jerome A. Cohen Visiting Professor of Law at NYU in Spring 2020. He also taught in Shenzhen (Peking University School of Transnational Law) and Shanghai (NYU Shanghai). Professor Qiao is an expert on property and urban law with a focus on comparative law and China, and he has won numerous awards for his academic literature. Lunch will be provided.
