Please join us for a robust discussion on "Unravelling Complex Social Phenomena: Gender, Networks, and Public Opinion in the Digital Age," led by Junming Huang, Associate Research Scientist at Princeton University. Huang's talk will cover a series of studies that use diverse methodologies to explore topics within the domains of science, network analysis, and public opinion. These studies utilize extensive bibliometric data, social network data, and national language processing techniques to understand the complex social phenomena and contribute to the broader discourse in these fields. Huang specializes in computational social science. Huang was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Complex Network Research at Northeastern University before joining Princeton. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a bachelor's degree in physics from Tsinghua University.
