Are you attending Duke Law School on F-1 or J-1 visa and intend to remain in the U.S. following the conclusion of your Optional Practical Training (OPT)? If so, please join Lorcan Shannon LLM'10 for a detailed discussion on the process and requirements of securing permanent residence in the U.S. At the session, students will learn about H-1B work visa program, types of companies that generally hire H-1B's, employer requirements, next steps (i.e. Green Card), and more. Mr. Shannon will also share his own career path and experience, and offer advice to students interested in pursuing immigration law as a career. Lunch will be provided.
