What you need to know about IP

The USPTO will be traveling to five colleges and universities in North Carolina from March 23 - 26 to present an engaging lecture series entitled, "What You Need to Know About IP." This lecture has been designed to help students, members of the IP community, law community and the public understand what Intellectual Property is and how to protect it. Leading the lecture series is USPTO Supervisory Patent Examiner, Brandon Fetterolf.The events are free and open to all with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Stops include: East Carolina University, North Carolina State University, Duke University, North Carolina University at Chapel Hill, and St. Augustine's College.
