Women's Law Students Association (WLSA) is having a panel to discuss the vast careers within public service and government law. Panelists thus far include Sarah Preston, executive director of Lillian's List of NC, a statewide community of individuals who work to recruit, train, promote and support pro-choice women running for public office in North Carolina, North Carolina Senator Angela Bryant and Durham Chief District Court Judge Marcia Morey. The event will center around the election process, any challenges panelists may foresee in these next four years within public service and the under representation of women in elected government positions.
