Electronic Resource Access
General Access
Alumni who have registered with the Duke Alumni Association for a OneLink account have remote access to selected databases (including ABI/Inform, several e-book platforms, and JSTOR). These databases must be accessed through the Alumni portal, not the Duke University Libraries catalog.
Select Databases
Some databases require an active NetID or current faculty, staff, or student affiliation with the university. Some vendors like Bloomberg, Lexis, and Westlaw may provide extended access for recent graduates, generally for six months to one year following graduation, with limitations on premium content possible.
For databases that require access via VPN, please download the VPN client and be sure to select Library Resources Only when connecting. Instructions for off-campus access to e-resources and using VPN are available through the Duke University Libraries.
