CLRP Co-Sponsors Summit on Climate & Environmental Justice, Racism & the Law
On November 16-17, 2023, the Duke Law Center on Law, Race & Policy co-sponsored the Summit on Climate & Environmental Justice, Racism & the Law. Held on the campus of North Carolina Central University, the Summit brought together from throughout the country organizers, attorneys, & scholars from various backgrounds, lived experiences, and issues of expertise to share knowledge, build relationships and power, and move towards action to meet the moment in society.
The event was held in conjunction with Taproot Earth, North Carolina Central Law School Social Justice and Racial Equity Institute, the University of North Carolina School of Law Center for Civil Rights, and the Duke Law Environmental Law and Policy Clinic.
