CLRP hosts Race & Law Centers Network 2024 Convening

On October 9-10, 2024, Duke Law’s Center on Law, Race & Policy (“CLRP”), hosted Race and Law Centers: Examining the Rule of Law for the 2024 Race and Law Centers Network Convening.
“The Race and Law Centers Network is a voluntary, non-partisan consortium of autonomous, university-based academic centers and institutes working to advance racial justice across all sectors of our society through a dynamic combination of research, advocacy, organizing, litigation, and education.”
The Convening featured panelists, a Keynote Lunchtime Conversation, and participants from prominent race and law centers from throughout the country, all working toward upholding the rule of law.
During the Convening, participants engaged on the work of race and law centers, how to galvanize collective efforts and support, as well as the myriad overarching issues race and law centers face.
The most recent previous in-person convenings were at Northeastern University School of Law (Summer 2023) and NYU School of Law (Winter 2023). CLRP also hosted a Spring 2024 Virtual Convening earlier this year.
