Asia-America Institute in Transnational Law relocates

Main Content

Duke Law School has relocated its 2003 Asia-America Institute in Transnational Law from Hong Kong to the Kyushu Faculty of Law in Fukuoka, Japan. The courses, faculty and fees are expected to be the same as those described for the Hong Kong program, and there are spaces at the institute for all Duke Law School and other students.

The institute's website will soon have additional information about the facilities, accommodations and other amenities. In addition, Lisa Wechsler, Director of Special International Projects at Duke Law School, who has previously lived in Fukuoka for two years, will be present at the program and will be an excellent source of information and advice.

Applications for the program are available from Tonya Jacobs, Director of Overseas Programs (jacobs@law.duke.edu). If you would like further information about the program, please contact Associate Dean for International Studies Judy Horowitz (Jhorowitz@law.duke.edu) or Tonya Jacobs.
